About Petite Feet Pet Care
Petite Feet Pet Care was established out of an immense love, care, and respect for all animals of every size, color, breed, and species. We have a long list of experiences with animals all the way from childhood. From a young age, we have been raised around horses, parrots and birds, cats, dogs, visiting raccoons, rabbits, and any other creature you can think of. We have owned, been owned by, cared for and loved them all!
Petite Feet Pet Care is a bonded and insured pet sitting/pet care company through Pet Sitters Associates, Inc. for your protection and peace of mind.
Mylyssa Wilson, owner of Petite Feet Pet Care, has volunteered for three years at a local animal shelter, Animal Keeper’s Rescue, and was also employed by a pet resort and spa for two years as a kennel technician and activities personnel. Here, a 6-week class and accompanying test was necessary to pass before employment. In these classes, important techniques were taught such as: dog CPR, animal massage, hydrotherapy, emergency care for wounds, bites, heat exhaustion, and hypothermia, proper ways to approach and handle an aggressive dog, common allergies of specific breeds and how to treat them, administration of medications, animal psychology and behavior and much more for proper TLC.
At home, Mylyssa is a busy, loved, and proud Mom of nine (yes, NINE!) furry kids: Scoops - a three year old male Chihuahua, Ren - a seven year male old Jack Russell/Australian Shepard mix, Lassie - a fifteen year old female triad colored Collie, Oreo - an eight year old black and white male cat, Ani Boo - a seven year old orange female cat, Baby Weez - a three year old female Ferret, Huh and Brat One - two one year old Ferrets (one deaf), Lemmiwinks - a three year old white mouse, Bali and Indi - two gorgeous Gouldian Finches, and Painter - a 16 year old, 16.2 hands, registered Paint jumping horse. (Our sweetheart, Baby Weez, passed away on 12/18/07. On 6/12/08, we also lost our beloved Collie, Lassie.)
